DESCRIPTION:Traditional hometown Veterans Day observation in Redondo Beach at the Veterans Memorialin beautiful Veterans Park by the Redondo Pier. The one-hour ceremony will start at 1:00pmMonday\, 11 November. The event will include commentary\, music and thanks and honors toall those who have served and worn the uniform of the United States of America in wartimeor peacetime. \n\n\n\nColonel Andrew Dermanoski\, US Space Force\, Commander\, Lòs Angeles Air Force Base is thekeynote speaker. Also speaking are State Senator Ben Allen and Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi. \n\n\n\nMayor Pro Tem Paige Kaluderovic will make a civic greeting and other community leaders\, electedofficial\, veterans and military dignitaries will also participate. \n\n\n\nMusic provided by the Redondo Beach High School Band with Mr. Fred Steiner. \n\n\n\nThe Tribute is supported by the Coastal Naval Sea Cadets\, Redondo Union High SchoolUSMC JROTC\, the Scouts and the United USA National Pageant Legacy Maker Academy. \n\n\n\nDonations and contributions are still being accepted for the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial.Brick purchase and sponsorships available.See http://www.RBVeteransMemorial.com for more information \n\n\n\nVeterans Day Tribute to be followed by a BBQ hosted by the Redondo Beach Elks Lodgein the Elks parking lot south of their building adjacent to Veterans Park.The BBQ is free to all veterans\, members of the military and first responders. \n\n\n\nVeterans Day in Redondo Beach is Open to the Public.
