DESCRIPTION:The Cities of Rolling Hills Estates\, Rolling Hills and Rancho Palos Verdes\, in partnership with Waste Management\, South Bay Environmental Services Center and Promenade on the Peninsula\, is hosting an Earth Day Celebration on Wednesday\, April 19\, 2023 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Promenade on the Peninsula. \n\n\n\nLocated in the fountain area of the Promenade shopping center\, the event will feature fun and educational activities and giveaways for all. There will also be FREE paper shredding available\, limited to 3 boxes per person – the truck will be parked in the lot adjacent to El Pollo Inka. \n\n\n\nThis FREE event will highlight great environmental initiatives around the community and provide opportunities to learn more about water conservation\, storm water pollution prevention and energy efficiency. \n\n\n\nPromenade on the Peninsula is located on Silver Spur Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw Boulevards. All stores and restaurants will be open during the event.
