Birdies for Breast Cancer: The 12th Annual Birdies for Breast Cancer golf tournament will take place Sunday, Oct. 4, with a 9 a.m. shotgun start at The Links at Terranea, 100 Terranea Way, Rancho Palos Verdes. The event features a nine-hole round of golf, food and drinks, a silent auction and more. Proceeds benefit Cancer Support Community South Bay’s free programs for cancer patients and their loved ones. Registration is $600 per foursome, with an early-bird rate of $500 available through Thursday, Oct. 1. S
