Hello to your fab families and little creators! We are so thrilled to officially be a part of this amazing magazine, coming to you quarterly with oodles of creative ideas on how to engage your little one, develop and strengthen those fine motor skills, sharpen critical thinking and build that creative resilience! It’s what we call Life Essential Skills – skills your little innovator will need in today’s ever-changing world. Like many of you, I have a few boxes here and there lying around the house from our door drop deliveries…well, little did you know that within just a few minutes, you can turn your cardboard scraps into truly something magical!
With big art hugs,

Supplies Needed:
- A few different sizes of cut out rectangular pieces of cardboard, long enough to roll into a small tube a few times.
- Masking tape
- Paint – we prefer washable tempera!
How to Create Cardboard Stampers:
- Carefully cut out a few different sizes of card-board rectangles (adults only or older elementary age children with supervision as they might just need a tiny bit of help!)
- Slowly roll the “sheet” of cardboard until it becomes a long tube like shape- this takes muscles and great for strengthening those little hands!
- Seal with masking tape on each end-You have just created your first Stamper!
- Pour paint on plates
- Dip your awesome Cardboard Stampers into paint and press and lift on paper, boxes, cards, mural paper and more! Move that stamper all over the paper – you can mix colors, use different shapes and create your own design.
