Our campus based program gives students the opportunity to learn about healthy foods and the natural world in a vibrant and active outdoor classroom environment.  Our program supports and enhances academic excellence and achievement through engaging, interactive hands-on learning experiences in the garden. Curiosity is awakened by the genuine interaction with nature. Students will gain life skills as they participate in all aspects of planting, maintaining and harvesting the garden.

Valmonte Farm & Garden was created to give special needs adult students, from PVPUSD, job training skills in an authentic situation. We grow fruits and vegetables for the “Seed to Plate” program (created by Chef Robert Bell of Chez Melange/Mama Terano’s and PVPUSD) weekly we provide seasonal produce to local restaurants such as Bettolino Kitchen and Mama Terranos.
