One of Palos Verdes Gems – Abalone Cove

Abalone Cove is a favorite day trip for many local Palos Verdes folks but it draws a crowd from afar as well. The attraction of the beautiful views, tidepools, trails, and coves make Abalone Cove and Sacred Cove a great destination for the whole family.

The bluffs in the park are protected in a state ecological preserve called Abalone Cove Reserve. Trails begin at the parking lot and meander up and down the bluffs and out to two prominent points that separate gorgeous coves.
