From playful puppies to loyal lifelong companions, these beloved pups are part of what makes our Peninsula community so special.
Here’s to sunny days, wagging tails, and making unforgettable summer memories with our best friends by our side.
Thank you to everyone who submitted photos and helped us celebrate the furry family members who brighten our days all year long!
Meet Some Peninsula Pups!

French Bulldog • The Kirk Family • Palos Verdes Estates
Gigi’s perfect day starts with a Starbucks Puppuccino and ends with a stroll at Terranea. Whipped cream, ocean breezes, and lots of affection—that’s her happy place.

Chocolate Labrador • The McKay Family • Valmonte
Captain never misses his daily walks on the Valmonte trails and is always dressed for the occasion. This summer, he’s proudly sporting his stars and stripes in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

Maltese • Nancy Robson • Malaga Cove
Ellie is the ultimate purse pup, always by her mama’s side. Whether running errands or walking along the coast, her adorable button nose wins over everyone she meets.

French Bulldog • Tierney Wixted • Malaga Cove
Finn loves soaking up the sun—even if it means stopping in the middle of a walk. You’ll often find him sniffing around Malaga Ranch Market for crumbs, handing out wet kisses, and showing off his signature high fives.

Golden Retriever • Lex (The Evans Family) • Palos Verdes Estates
Benny is known for his giant smile, beloved blankie, and greeting everyone like an old friend. Follow his adventures on Instagram @lexandbenny, where he’s spreading smiles one wag at a time.

Parti Poodle • Fabienne Marsh • Malaga Cove
Louie beat incredible odds after being rescued as a tiny foster puppy weighing less than a pound. Now nearly 17, he proves every day that rescue dogs truly are the best companions.

American Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier • The Godbold Family • South Shores
Bodie never turns down a car ride, peanut butter, or his favorite maple cookies. Add a few butterflies to chase and his favorite people nearby, and he’s one happy pup.

Terrier Mixes • The LeNoach Family • Valmonte
Tito is Valmonte’s famous escape artist—his biggest adventure took him all the way to LAX! Now sporting a GPS tracker, he and Sadie spend their days showing off tricks and making friends wherever they go.
