PVP Chamber of Commerce Salute to Small Business & Citizen of the Year

Last week, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Salute to Business and Citizen of the Year awards dinner, bringing together hundreds of local leaders and community members for a night of meaningful recognition and celebration. The evening shined a well-deserved spotlight on the individuals and organizations driving business and service on the Peninsula, reaffirming the strong spirit of collaboration within our community.

The event proudly honored our esteemed Citizen of the Year, Joe Giacomin (Martin Chevrolet). We also recognized key award designations including: Excellence in Business (Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Catalina View Gardens, and Gaetano’s); Best New Business (Lunada Kitchen and Peninsula Pointe by Cogir); Best Non-profit Organizations (South Coast Botanic Garden and The Circle of Palos Verdes Art Center); and Best Community Service Organizations (Rotary Club of Palos Verdes Peninsula and Vistas for Children). Each of these award recipients truly reflects the best of our area: the collaboration, dedication, and community spirit that defines the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The evening’s celebration would not have been possible without the support of the event sponsors: Terranea, Torrance Memorial Medical Center, Martin Chevrolet, Providence-Little Company of Mary, Trump National Golf Club, Merrill-The Adishian Group, PV Magazine, State Farm (Suzy Zimmerman), The Forefront Media and D.K. Kim Foundation in honor of Peninsula Library Friends.
