Destination: Art, as part of its 10th Anniversary Celebration, hosted the “Life on the Palos Verdes Peninsula” show in August. The Artists’ Reception on August 17 drew more than 150 guests to the work displayed in the unique studios and gallery art space. The exhibition was curated by award winning South Bay artists Stephen Mirich and Bernard Fallon who juried in the 17 other elite artists, and the more than 65 paintings in all mediums. The exhibition showcased beautiful landscape paintings in the traditions of the great California Impressionists of the early 20th century and of the oldest art association in California, the California Art Club.
Destination: Art was founded in 2014, and 2024 is a year-long celebration of its success. It is a community hub of engagement and outreach, rooted in the belief that art is essential to the flourishing of the human spirit, and connects to diverse audiences.
